Commonly known as Root Canal Therapy, this precision procedure is designed to save a tooth that has become infected or severely inflamed at its core (the pulp). Our goal is to eliminate acute pain, remove the infection, and restore the natural tooth’s function and structural integrity, avoiding the need for extraction.

The dentist accesses the internal chamber of the tooth to remove the diseased pulp tissue and nerves. The root canals are then meticulously cleaned, shaped, and disinfected. Finally, the canals are filled with a biocompatible material called gutta-percha to seal the area and prevent re-infection.
We use high-resolution digital X-rays to visualize the complex anatomy of the root canals. Local anesthesia is administered to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as a standard filling.
We utilize specialized endodontic instruments and electronic apex locators for precision. The tooth is isolated with a rubber dam to maintain a sterile environment throughout the process.
Most patients experience significant pain relief immediately. However, the tooth may be tender to pressure for a few days. A permanent crown is almost always required following a root canal to protect the now-brittle tooth from fracture.
Our team proudly works with a diverse network of PPO dental insurance carriers.
