A Dental Crown is a custom-fabricated prosthetic “cap” designed to fully encase a damaged, severely decayed, or root-canal-treated tooth. We utilize high-grade porcelain or zirconia ceramic materials to restore the tooth’s structural integrity, function, and natural appearance, protecting it from further fracture or infection.

The natural tooth is precisely reshaped to create space for the crown. An intraoral digital scan or traditional impression is then taken to create a model. The final crown is engineered to match the exact shade and anatomical contour of your surrounding teeth for a perfect fit.
We evaluate the health of the underlying pulp and bone structure. In some cases, a "core buildup" may be required to provide a stable foundation for the crown.
The tooth is prepared under local anesthesia. A temporary crown is usually placed to protect the site while the permanent restoration is being custom-crafted by our dental laboratory.
Once the final crown is bonded, patients should maintain standard oral hygiene. While crowns are highly durable, avoiding extremely hard foods will help prevent ceramic chipping and ensure the restoration lasts for many years.
Our team proudly works with a diverse network of PPO dental insurance carriers.
